Eve has begun drawing faces. Love this smiling self-portrait.
Leah started figurative drawing last summer when she drew this – it’s Thomas of course
All winter Eve has been absorbed in elaborate crayon scribbles which she has called her Bear Pictures. This makes complete sense because she discovered and loved, Raymond Briggs’ The Bear in November. It’s illustrated with soft crayon drawings and Eve’s interpretation might look like scribbles to you but I have kept several of the Bear series and think they are beautiful, especially as each one has been drawn with careful concentration and much deliberating over crayon colours.
I’m liking that as winter ends Eve’s art is having its own metamorphosis
