Every weekday morning we commute past the hospital where Eve and Leah where born and I always remark on this. Somehow for Leah this has translated into “the hospital where you played ball” and she tells us that when she was born Daddy went to the hospital and kicked a ball up and down the corridor and then a doctor gave Daddy two babies which he paid for. It’s an intriguing story but I’m not too keen on the bit where “Mummy stayed at home and did reading”. We’ve spent some time showing them photographs just after they were born but Leah’s not budging from her original theory.
