Eve and Leah love swimming but our local pool has a strict adult child ratio for under eights so it’s not something I can do on my own with them. Not that the actual detail of a real pool filled with real water stopped our fun. Oh no, a morning of painting and sticking and plenty of imagination and they had as much fun as the real thing. The fact that the paint wasn’t quite dry only added to the fun and they stayed in as long as they do in the real pool. They even insisted on hot showers afterwards.
